Luckily, she got confirmation that they did, but she also learned that Sophia's domain isn't yet suited for them because their living conditions aren't met yet.

  “We’re back!” A few hours had passed since the couple went to Mira’s domain to ask the overseer about the penguins. Steph and Chloe had already returned to the cottage and were relaxing in the living room when they heard Sophia's cheerful voice.

  “Would you look at that? They remembered that we exist.” Sounding as sarcastic as possible when the two tigers, Ari, and Maya entered the living room, Steph ignored them and looked at Chloe next to her instead. It seemed like the wolves had stayed behind in Barak for the time being.

  “Are you sure about that?” The pink fox tilted her head while looking back at her. “They might’ve just simply returned home.”

  “That is true!” The dog could follow her logic.

  “Ahh.” Ari awkwardly scratched her cheek. “I told you they would be upset.”

  “You forgot about them just as much as the rest of us did.” Maya wasn’t planning to go down without her.

  “But you were the one who said that it’s fine because they were too tired to come, anyway.” The jaguar looked back at her. “Because they had sex all day and needed to rest during the night.”

  “How did you know that?!” Chloe replied without thinking.

  “Even if that is the case, which it certainly is, some of you still could've had the courtesy to at least come and ask!” Steph was rather upset about that part.

  “Yeah, we’re sorry about that.” Ari had nothing to say in their defense. “It slipped our minds.”

  “Then again, you also wouldn’t have liked it if we interrupted you last night, right?” Maya tried to come up with an excuse.

  “Not wrong, but that wouldn’t have been your fault, then.” The dog-girl shook her head. “You having forgotten about us entirely is still the problem!”

  “Yeah, okay, fair.” The cat-girl awkwardly scratched her cheek. “Well, at least you got to have sex while we got lost in a sandstorm.”

  “I’m suddenly a lot less upset!” Steph didn’t like the sound of that. “Chloe and I also broke our previous records on the most times in a single day, so we were quite successful.”

  “Ohh?” Hearing that, Ari's interest was piqued. After all, she proudly boasted about her record with Anna a little while ago when she was chatting with the cat-girl and how it was higher than Maya’s times with Sophia.

  “It has gotten colder in the entire domain!” She shuddered slightly. “By at least 0.2 degrees!”

  “There’s no way you can feel that!” Steph got loud. “Not even you could be that sensitive to the cold!”

  “You underestimate my sensitivity!”

  “She is pretty sensitive, true.” Maya nodded. “Being able to feel a temperature difference that small is a bit much, though.” She was talking about a different type of sensitivity there.

  “You all do remember that this domain is literally connected to me, right? I could feel even less of a change with ease!”

  “Ah, right.” The cat-girl hadn’t thought about that.

  “If you really are that connected to this place, don’t you already know what we did?”

  “Hmm.” Sophia closed her eyes and concentrated for a moment. “ARE YOU TWO INSANE?!” She immediately got loud afterward.

  “Hehe.” Steph enjoyed her reaction.

  “What did they do?” Anna got curious about it.

  "They created a blizzard with a radius of multiple hundreds of kilometers that left behind massive amounts of snow and ice! There seems to be a half-frozen sea, as well!”

  “Brr!” The cats had the same collective reaction.

  “That’s just the start, too!” Steph got even more smug. “We’re going to create a massive polar biome together! A beautiful mix of arctic and antarctic goodness!”

  “Why?!” The blonde wasn't a fan of the idea.

  “To celebrate our heritage!” The dog-girl smiled at her. “Chloe is an arctic fox, and I am part husky, after all!”

  "Chloe reincarnated, and you're a city girl who got too excited with magic!”

  “Also, penguins!” Steph ignored her complaints.

  “Ahh.” Sophia’s expression turned a lot more understanding. “Yeah, I remember you liking them a whole lot.”

  “I love them!” She lightly corrected her.

  “Well, they are super cute, so I guess it’s excusable that you’re creating such a horrible place to give them a good place to live.” The blonde then paused for a second before looking at the jaguar. “Still… Ari, do you mind if I give the eternal fire forest of you and Aura some more power to compensate for the temperature drop?"

  "Be my guest!" She immediately agreed with her as she hated the cold even more than the short tiger.

  Afterward, once those topics were taken care of, Sophia and the others told Chloe and Steph more about the desert and oasis city they found and explored. The two obviously got quite excited about it, and now that it was evening, they decided to take the portal Sophia had hidden near the oasis to do some exploring on their own.
