[Keven POV]

  As we are heading to the cafeteria I'm looking at my hands seeing how bad the cuts from my cws are. I remove the bandages to see nothing. Ok, that's cool, but concerning.

  "Hey Gale can monsters heal themselves?"(Keven)

  "Some, but they are a pain to deal with because they hunt more than normal. Some theories suggest it is because they need more energy for that ability. Why do you ask?"(Gale)

  I raise my hands to show him. The doctor rushed to examine them nearly pulling my fingers off.

  "Ow that hurts!"(Keven)

  "So the nerves still send pain signals, that could mean you can only take so much damage, or you still need them for something else. Maybe you still have them subconsciously."(Doctor)

  "Is this something I should worry about?"(Keven)

  "As far as we know it might mean you have to eat more than you used to."(Gale)

  "Well then it's a good thing we are heading there now."(Keven)

  I somehow got my hands back from the Doctor and we continued walking.

  "By the way how did you know my name."(Keven)

  "You're an urban legend around here, your name and retives were all the telepaths could get from the cocoon. Which reminds me you might not want to use your real name around here."(Gale)

  "Why is it because it will ruin the fun for everyone else."(Keven)

  "That and some have made it their goal to find you and prove that they are the best by breaching the legendary creature in the cocoon."(Gale)

  "So it's to avoid all the telepaths from destroying my privacy?"(Keven)

  "If that was all, but it was blown out of proportions. It is said you are resistant to all abilities. You could be attacked by anyone."(Gale)

  That would be a problem especially because I don't know how to fight.

  "I see, I guess I'll go by Kim then since it was what I named the characters that looked like this when I made them in video games."(Keven now Kim)

  Soon after that discussion we finally made it to the cafeteria. The smell of food is starting to make me hungrier than before. there's the pizza I hope it has a lot of pepperoni on it. With that in mind, I fill up my pte trying to avoid the ones with pineapple on them. We sit down no one is in here so we have a free pick of the tables, But still end up in the corner. Just like in high school huh, were these two unpopur as well?

  The door to the room suddenly sms open as someone flies through it nding on their face. Getting up was a man taller than I was when I had transformed earlier so probably 6'5 had really short blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing some jeans and a T-shirt that was too tight for him and his muscles. Then another walked in behind him wearing square gsses in a blue tracksuit. The second man was also blond but his hair was long and he stood to about 5'8 not as muscur with brown eyes. Then I hear Gale groan

  "Great Teach and Brick are here." sigh (Gale)

  Before I could ask about them, the human rocket spotted us in the corner and headed to the table.

  "Look at what we have here. Ditching us to see your girlfriend."(Human Rocket)

  Ok, I don't like this guy already no wonder Gale looked annoyed and what is that line, doesn't he feel embarrassed to say such a cliché? I see that the doctor is getting annoyed as well she even put her notes away at the sight of this. This guy is only getting more obnoxious with his next words to me.

  "Why don't you ditch this loser sweetie and hang out with a real man."(human rocket AKA dead man walking)

  Before I could do anything I heard someone else speaks first.

  "Oh my dear Teach I still haven't seen you for your physical yet, if you have time to hit on the newest Esper I can conduct it now."(Doctor)

  If the words she spoke had any more venom on them we all may very well melt from a signal sylble of them. Teach jumped at the sound of the Doctor.

  "I didn't see you there blood witch!"(Teach)

  He replied in a panic.

  "What was that."(Doctor)

  Before the idiot could put his foot in his mouth anymore the other guy who I assume is Brick came to his rescue.

  "I'm sorry about that Doctor, Teach here didn't mean to offend you he just doesn't know how to behave in front of such lovely flowers"(Brick)

  He spoke with a tone that lets you know how superior he thinks he is. Ok, I hate him too! I can feel my cws trying to manifest, but I will them not to with all of my strength. Breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, and breathe out. As I was doing this they start to get their food and leave.

  "I'm sorry you had to deal with them."(Gale)

  "It's ok, but you should stop apologizing so much."(Kim)

  "Sor.."(Gale)

  "Stop apologizing!"(Kim)

  I stop him before he could finish. The rest of the meal was quiet except for the strange looks I got from the other people that showed up ter and the cook fainting at the amount of food I ate.

  "When can I see my family?"(Kim)

  I ask after I finish wiping my face

  "I say about a month, between catching you up on everything and the tests the Doctor will want to do. That is the minimum time it will take."(Gale)

  "Ok, it's been two years a month is nothing in comparison."(Kim)

  I say slightly down. I hope they are doing ok.

  [POV Change]

  At the site of one of the Shifts, a creature emerges from it. It looks like a red fox with two tails, scaly wings, and lizard cws. She looks around, but unlike the monsters that surround her, she has intelligence in her eyes. After dealing with the monsters She feels a connection in the distance for a few seconds and she starts to head that way. Wondering why she felt such sadness and anger from the connection. Why did she want to comfort the being she only felt for a moment? Why did she not feel complete without it? After some time she decided the why was not important, but the how. How was she gonna comfort it, how was she going to make it feel complete?

  She looked around seeing a city destroyed with a nguage she somehow recognized. Then for an even more brief moment, she felt it again the connection it hasn't moved and now it has more information and the name of the being Kim. She will also need a name before she gets to her. After a little more walking her throat starts to burn she opens her mouth only for fire to come out. Ok that was cool, but I need to be able to control that. she thought before seeing a pce to rest the sign outside said Jill's Café. That looks like a good pce to rest and I've decided it will be my name as well. Wait for me Kim, Jill is on her way.
