The world of Rhyles was revealed to Earth when a rift opened between the two of them. Rhyles was a spectacle to Earth as the world seemed to defy all traditional laws of physics, being two flat planes suspended above each other. The native Rhylean people called the top plane Proxima and the bottom one Dista. Earth itself was also a spectacle to the Rhylean people as the people of Earth didn''''t possess inherent empyreal powers and relied heavily on technology to function.
