  Evangeline: “So… Cammy,”

  Camren: “...”

  Evangeline: “Um, Camren,”

  Camren: “Mhm, what’s up?”

  Evangeline: “The dome.”

  Camren: “Haha, very funny.”

Evangeline: “No I meant like, why is it up there?”

Camren: “I don’t really know. I’ve been told that it was to protect us.”

Evangeline: “Why? What’s there to protect you guys from?”

Camren: “You’d know more about the outside than I would right?”

Evangeline: “I guess, but what I’m saying is, there is nothing out there. I don’t understand what you guys are so-, why you guys have such rules.”

Camren: “Hm, I guess I have also asked myself that at some point.”

Evangeline: “Right? Don’t you think it’s a little weird?”

Camren: “But then again, I’ve never felt the need to worry about such things. If it works, then why bother right?”

  Evangeline: “R-right...”

  Camren: “...”

  Evangeline: “...”

Camren: “But things such as the sky, the sun, the moon and the stars, the outside world, I’ve always wondered what it was actually like.”

Evangeline: “Man, I am definitely getting you out of here!”

Camren: “Yeah right, I am curious, but that doesn’t mean I need to act on them.”

Evangeline: “I know I know, I will say, for being a big hunk of steel plating, the dome doesn’t do too bad of a job simulating the real thing.”

Camren: “When it’s day, it turns bright blue, I guess to replicate what the sky is like.”

Evangeline: “Right, it is! Although not all days are like that.”

  Camren: “It’s not?”

Evangeline: “Nope! There are days when the sky is gray, full of clouds and no light, but there are also days with no clouds at all!”

Camren: “I’ve never heard of that before…”

Evangeline: “And when it's night time, the stars are beautifully placed in the night sky, not leaving a single empty space.”

Camren: “Kinda like the lights up at the dome now?”

Evangeline: “Yeah but they're not that… uniformly aligned. More like, scattered across the sky!”

  Camren: “Hmmmm”

Evangeline: “Also there are a loooot more lights than what the dome tries to replicate.”

  Camren: “I see,”

Evangeline: “Although, walking down the street like this with you, Terrado isn’t all that bad!”

Camren: “Right? Hey, I know I already kind of asked you this, but why did you come here?”

Evangeline: “Like I said, I ran away.”

  Camren: “Yeah but, why here?”

Evangeline: “Oh right. My grandmother was one of the only ones who detested arranged marriages. She knew I wasn’t going to be happy there, so when I was younger she told me about this place called ‘Terrado’.”

Camren: “She encouraged you to run away? Even so, wouldn't it have been easier if you stayed relatively close to where you're from?”

Evangeline: “Oh um, Gillua isn’t that big of a place. It’s a small town within a forest, founded by my great great grandmother. It was named after her son, or so I’ve been told all this. So there wasn't a point in me staying nearby.”

Camren: “Wow that’s interestin- wu, wait a minute!”

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

  Evangeline: “?!?”

Camren: “Your family is pretty important no?!? Like they found your whole village!”

Evangeline: “I-i guess you could say that…”

Camren: “So wouldn’t that make you next in line? Kinda like a princess!”

  Evangeline: “WHA-”

Camren: “I wouldn’t really know how it works over there but- Are you ok?”

  Evangeline: “...”

  Camren: “Are you blushing?”

Evangeline: “N-NO! I’M JUST GETTING TIRED FROM ALL THE WALKING! THAT’S ALL!”

Camren: “Did you get all flustered~ when I called you a-”

Evangeline: “ANYWAYS! W-where are we walking to by the way? Just walking? Didn’t you say that you had somewhere to stop by?”

Camren: “Oh right! Speaking of which, here we are!”

  Evangeline: “A school?”

Camren: “Yup! I forgot my notes from yesterday’s class, and it’s closed on weekends so I thought I might as well sneak in to get it before Monday.”

Evangeline: “Are we at the front of the school or?”

Camren: “Nope, we’re at the back of it, I know a hidden way in!”

Evangeline: “They don’t have cameras or any security here?”

Camren: “Oh they do don’t worry, but not through the way I know.”

Evangeline: “Wait wait wait, are we being watched now???”

Camren: “Maybe? But it’s fine, they’ve never said anything about it so…”

Evangeline: “That’s… concerning, is that not concerning?”

Camren: “Well I’ll worry about that when I get to it, but let’s head inside.”

Evangeline: “Cool! I won’t ask why you know how to sneak into your own school though.”

  Camren: “I… forget stuff easily,”

  Evangeline: “...”

Camren: “Yeeeeup, let’s uh, let’s go with that. Follow me.”

Evangeline: “You better not be getting me in any trouble…”

  .

Camren: “See, that wasn’t so bad right?”

Evangeline: “Are you sure no one saw us coming in here?”

Camren: “Yes don't worry, and even then, the worst they'll do is kick us out.”

Evangeline: “By the way, your school is nice looking~ pretty big too, for a high school.”

Camren: “Oh, it’s a tech academy! All of the technological advancements made in Terrado are from here!”

Evangeline: “Oh wow! This is so cool!”

Camren: “Do you guys not have schools where you’re from?”

Evangeline: “I don’t know if you meant it, but that was a little rude.”

Camren: “Sorry, I was just wondering. I still don’t know much about Gillua, that’s all.”

Evangeline: “We do have an education system, but like I said since it’s a small place, our school isn’t that big either.”

  Camren: “Oohh, that’s why,”

Evangeline: “Yeah your school is at least 5 times bigger than ours!”

  Camren: “What’s it like?”

Evangeline: “It’s… not that interesting, definitely not as cool looking as yours.”

Camren: “Hm, maybe you can show me if you get me out of here.”

Evangeline: “Oh? I thought you didn’t want to leave?”

Camren: “I said IF you happen to get me outside the city. Also it’s not that I don’t want to, I just don’t know how you would. You got me… interested.”

Evangeline: “Would your girl~friend be ok with you coming with me?”

Camren: “Oh right… I forgot about that.”

Evangeline: “Pfff YOU FORGOT ABOUT YOUR GIRLFRI-”

Camren: “Keep your voice down! You don’t want anyone to hear us speaking!”

  Evangeline: “Wait, there’s people here?”

Camren: “Not likely, but in the event that there is somebody, you don’t wanna risk it”

Evangeline: “What? Then why are we here?”

Camren: “Because I need my notes!”

Evangeline: “I highly doubt that your few quick notes from class are worth risking whatever the consequences are!!!”

Camren: “They are VERY important notes!!! I need them for a test on Monda- wait!”

  Evangeline: “?”

  Camren: “Shh!”

  Evangeline: “Is…”

  Camren: “Yeah, someone’s coming!”

Evangeline: “Crap! What do we do?!?”

Camren: “Like I said, worse comes to worse we just get kicked out- wait I forgot my pad!”

  Evangeline: “What does that mean?”

  Camren: “I… can’t communicate…”

Evangeline: “Is that a big deal?”

Camren: “Uhh, it’s ok! Just go into that classroom! Hurry!”

Evangeline: “Do we close the door?”

Camren: “No, we can’t make any noise!”

  Evangeline: “What do we do?!”

Camren: “Shhh! We’ll just wait for them to pa- What's wrong?”

  Evangeline: “Uh…uhhh…”

  Camren: “?...!”
