Epilogue - Hes Pretty Useless

Due to her excellent display during the raid on the capital, Queen Eliza gained recognition from all over the land. She was dubbed, "The True Successor to Queen Mary." It's kind of crazy to think that this was all her master plan from the start. The girl is truly terrifying. After her long, easy battle, she helped herself to a feast full of gourmet food.

The following day, James didn't show up for his knight duties... I wonder why. Oh wait, he's back at the Knight's Living quarters. James had packed his bags and headed towards the door.

"Yo, James? Where you are heading?" George said. Dandy came running right after, eager to know what was happening. This was tea.

James took a deep breath before answering. "I don't think the knight life is cut out for me. I'm going to get merit differently... Like starting a business. Something that's actually doable."

"Wow. Those are words I thought the great James Boeing would say. What about Queen Eliza?" Dandy asked. The name Eliza quickly triggered James' PTSD from last night. His face grew pale.

"Uh, James?" George asked waving his hand in from of his face. James returned to his sense and smacked George's hand away.

"What about her? She's Queen Eliza. She doesn't need a knight." James said, finally accepting the fact. Eliza was strong, too strong even. "If that's all, I'll be heading out."

James walked out the doors of the Knight's Residence. All you could hear him say was "never again." Safe to say he was completely traumatized.

Back at the castle, Eliza was snacking on some fruit snacks, the best snack. Matori sat down next to her.

"So, what about James Boeing?" the manager asked.

"What about him? He's James Boeing. He'll find his way. Eventually. I don't know I barely knew the guy." Eliza sunk down into the couch and turned on the television. She was plastered all over the news. Internet famous as one might say.

"You realize it's still kingdom law for you to have a knight?" Matori said after silently watching some television.

"Ah forget it. I'm the ruler around here. I'll just change the law. That's right. I, Eliza Daiyamo, am the Queen at the age of 19! Woo!"

In the end, a new legend was born, and a new lesson was learned. If you're the knight to Queen Eliza, you're pretty much useless.

  ~END~

a/n: hey there readers. I typed this up about 2 years ago and it was supposed to be some lighthearted fun, so if you enjoyed it, I'm glad you did.

Originally when the story was written, it ended here, but I've recently decided and found a way to continue the story for a few more plotlines I felt I could explore.

When those parts are fully written, I'll update them here, but for now, this story will be listed as completed until then.

Once again, thanks for reading and I hope you look forward to the next volume - The Queen on the Battlefield!
