Chapter 14 We Entered the Basketball Club

  We entered the basketball club

Standing in front of the basketball club, what a magnificent and majestic momentum it is.

They lined up one by one, forming a long dragon, really didn't know what was going on, but as soon as they came, it scared people to death.

"Ah, it seems we're hopeless. The line is so long." Jing said with a tone of complaint.

"No, you can't leave! You promised me you'd attend, you can't back out now." Xue grabbed my arm to stop me from leaving.

"We won't go, but you have to help us get the number plate." Xīn patted Shān's head.

"Alright, I'll go." Having said that, Xan rushed into the crowd.

"Let me through, okay?" Since Xuan was Prince Xi's sister, many people didn't want to offend her, so they let him pass.

No, she'll be back in a moment.

"Bing, Xin, Ying, Qi, look, I've brought it back, you won't leave now, will you?" Shan shook the card in his hand.

"Uh-huh, not only speed but also efficiency, keep it up." I said. Then we found a spot nearby to sit down. Mine was 60, Xīn was 61, Qí was 62, and Yǐng was 63.

After a large team of people had finished coming down, everyone went in one by one according to their number plates.

I watched their faces, one by one with a smile going in, but all came out disheartened. It seems that these people have high standards and look down on ordinary people.

I'm tired of this scene, I said to Xin: "Xin, I'll take a nap. When it's my turn, wake me up."

Time slipped away bit by bit like this. "Number 60, Number 60 is gone."

"Come on, Ice, it's your turn." Xīn shook my shoulder.

I vaguely heard someone calling me, so I opened my eyes.

  "Xin, you're calling me."

  "It's your turn now."

  "Oh."

I slowly walked in, opened the door and saw them all staring at me.

"Alright, you're here for the interview, right? You're number 60?" That flirtatious young master Xuan looked at me and asked.

  I nodded in response.

"Huh, Xuan, I've finally seen someone as cold as you." The flirtatious young master said to the Xuan beside him without any courtesy.

I didn't expect him not to say a word and just gave me a cold look.

"Hao, Xi, why do I feel like the air conditioner isn't turned up that high, but there's such a strong cold wind?" Someone was still rambling on, not knowing when to stop. My brother and the person called Xi just slightly nodded their heads.

"Hey, are you guys just chatting or discussing something serious? If it's the former, I'm not joining in." I turned around to leave.

  "Wait," said Xuan.

I turned around and looked at him. The people next to him also seemed to be frightened, looking at him with disbelieving eyes.

  "Xuan, you..." My brother said.

"There's nothing much, it's just that since he came all the way here, we can't let him leave empty-handed."

  "Okay..." Xi also chimed in.

"There's nothing to be sorry about."

"Are you taking me as transparent?" I asked angrily.

My brother knows me better and says: "Xuan, you're asking for it."

"Why did you choose to join the basketball club?" he asked me.

"I was forced." I simply replied to him.

  "Coerced?" I nodded slightly.

"Well, what's your purpose in joining the basketball club?" Xuan said.

  "Kill time."

They were apparently intimidated by my response, except for my brother. Probably everyone who comes to the basketball club is either for them or wants to increase their popularity, but they can't think of my purpose being just to kill time.

"How's your basketball skills?" Xī asked.

"Of course, she's great at basketball, even better than me." My brother surprisingly answered for me. He seemed to realize his mistake and quickly covered his mouth, while I also gave him a stern look. But the words had already been spoken, like spilled water that couldn't be taken back.

"Hao, when did you become so familiar with her?" Xuan spoke out the doubts of the other two people, his tone seemingly carrying a hint of sourness. However, everyone focused on Hao's words and no one noticed, not even Xuan himself was very clear about what that feeling was.

  "Oh, haha, haha."

"Don't play dumb with me, speak up quickly and you'll get a lighter punishment, resist and it will be severe." Xuan wasn't going to let my brother off easy, he asked hastily.

My brother turned his gaze to me, I waved my hand, as if saying, you got yourself into this trouble, you deal with it. And if you dare to speak out, you're dead for sure. Not only will they not let you off, but we won't either.

  "Hehe, it's because...because..." he muttered.

"Why? You'd better say it out, otherwise you'll be in trouble." Xī was still as gentle as usual, but with a hint of inquiry beneath her gentleness.

"What's wrong with you guys? She's just my sister's friend, they used to come over and play at my house when they were kids, but then she went abroad and we lost touch. But in the past, her ball skills were really good, I don't know about now though."

After listening to his brother's words, I also felt at ease. But then: "Really?" a cold voice asked.

"Of course, don't believe me, ask Ice." My brother, who was almost dead, taught me the question again.

They turned their heads to me in a hurry, and I nodded, and they believed it.

"Alright, now let's vote, I hope Ling Ziyi passes, raise your hand," Xuan said.

Of course, I was unanimously approved and became a member of the basketball club. After me, Xīn, Qí and Yǐng also passed one after another. Xīn is also a player, while Qí and Yǐng are managers.

Small matters, how can they be difficult for us? Hehe.
