Mischievous Princess 3: Triplets Volume 6 Evening Gown ②
"What? You don't want to?" Rui raised an eyebrow and looked at Xin.
"It's not that, it's just that I didn't expect to be in... this kind of situation..." Xīn looked at my face, hesitating and not daring to speak.
"Rui, Xin, I'm telling you again, An Pei Xuan is one of us, so stop being so cautious, okay? If this continues, I'll be driven mad."
"Alright, alright, you guys are fine, we were just overthinking. But sis, it's just An Pei Xuan bringing his girlfriend back, do we need to wear the formal attire that we had planned for the engagement ceremony?" Rui made a surrendering gesture, and I realized she was referring to "An Pei Xuan bringing his girlfriend back" and didn't think anything of it, so I felt relieved.
"Our original idea for this set of clothes was to pass it down to commemorate some major moments, don't you think Uncle An and Aunt An finding a daughter-in-law is something worth commemorating?" I stood up and slowly walked towards the stairs.
Rui He and Xin chased after him.
"But isn't it supposed to be a commemoration of our important moment? Why change it to commemorate An Pei Xuan instead?"
"Xin ah, don't complain, it's nothing. If you're not willing to wear it a second time, we can just redesign it." I poked at Xin's mask.
"Alright, got it." Xīn said with her mouth, but who knows what she's thinking in her mind? Anyway, it doesn't matter, as long as Xīn stops obsessing over this issue.
We went upstairs and walked to the innermost room. There was someone guarding the door, who saw us coming and bowed respectfully before leaving along the way we came.
The three of us tacitly took out a wire from the inside of our dorm room in freshman year, which was actually a key. If you looked closely, you could see the inverted teeth and spiral patterns on the wire.
The door in front of us is specially customized, and only the three keys we hold can open it. Inside, there are no antiques, jewelry, or treasures, but just three sets of attire, simple yet elegant.
We unanimously chose black as the color of our attire, a shiny black, because we thought that kind of almost heavy black could be used to disguise ourselves very well.
The three of us wore corset-style formal dresses, mine fell straight down to my ankles, and the lace around the hem just changed that dull feeling. Because I didn't want to expose the tattoo on my left collarbone, I deliberately pulled a circle of black lace over my left shoulder, forming a simple rose shape that covered most of the tattoo. The hanging lace could also block it, but what was left even if people saw it couldn't tell what it was. I chose a pair of black high-heeled leather boots, and because of the hem problem, it wasn't hard to put something inside the boots.
Rui's evening gown was a strapless style, perfectly accentuating her delicate and pale collarbone. The hem of her dress had a cheongsam-like feel to it, with the two sides of her thighs slightly parted, but only up to the knees. However, the heavy metal ring she wore gave off a strong metallic vibe, which didn't make her look weak at all. Rui's evening gown was relatively simple, except for a single-winged butterfly made from sequins on the chest area, there were no other elaborate decorations.
Xin's dress was different from ours, it had a small Western-style skirt that only reached her knees, revealing her white and slender legs. She requested a cape, made of sable fur, but considering she still needed to wear a coat, the cape wasn't very thick, so it didn't look particularly solemn either.
