Chapter 2: Unexpected Encounter

  The campus of Jin Yi College is lush with camphor and banyan trees, blocking out most of the sunlight. The cicadas on the treetops make a loud, piercing sound, and walking under the dense foliage, the hot air hits you in the face.

  Today is the first day of school, Lin Yuchen has been fighting for several days and promised her parents many times to agree that she can transfer to Jin Yi Academy, known as the aristocratic academy, with a simple family background and humble living conditions.

  Because the distance was not very far, Lin Yuchen could clearly see the dazzling sunlight shining through the leaves onto his face, a calm and collected expression on his handsome and angular features, his dark pupils staring intently at the person under the tree, his white T-shirt and white casual pants appearing even whiter in the glaring sunlight, he was holding a small sketchbook, it could be seen that he was painting.

  From afar, she could sense his noble and extraordinary demeanor, he must be an outstanding person, Lin Yuchen thought to herself.

  "Sorry to disturb you." She nodded at the person who jumped down from the tree, showing her apology, and looked at him like that. Lin Yuchen thought she must be blushing.

  Her elegant demeanor left the other person slightly surprised, not expecting to meet someone with such a refined temperament in this noble academy. Her clear eyes were completely devoid of the coquettish and artificial expressions he had seen before, only exuding a fresh and serene aura.

  "Your pencil is broken." He must be someone who likes to draw a lot.

  "Hmm." It's been a long time since he picked up this pen, and it brought back the memories that he had buried deep in his heart. Today, for some reason, he felt an urge to draw, but when he held the brush, he couldn't draw anything.

  "I have a pencil here." Lin Yuchen suddenly remembered the pencils she always carried with her, and hastily pulled out the painting brushes from her backpack to hand over to him.

  "Thank you." Seeing the genuine sparkle in her eyes, Yan Zi Yi didn't refuse and smiled as he accepted the pencil she handed over.
