Chapter 49
Chen Huaisheng brought over a mirror for him to look at. "The pus in these several packets has been squeezed out, but I estimate it will recur several times, so you can either use acne gel or prick it open with a needle yourself, but be sure to pay attention to disinfection and apply 'medicine'."
Pang Hua looked at the table full of tools, "Can I get you to help me deal with this? I'll treat you to Italian food."
"It's been a long time since I had international cuisine," "Let's have Japanese food next time."
"Okay."
"Right, your living expenses are now paid by your parents, aren't they?"
"Yes, but I'm a boarding student, so I don't spend much. It's just that graduate students have to pay tuition."
"What do you plan to do after graduation? You're already in your second year of graduate studies."
"May stay in school. Hmm, may continue with PhD."
"Chemistry?"
"I haven't thought it through yet."
"Then I'll study chemistry, and set up a workshop, yeah, I plan to register an industrial and trading company."
"Is it necessary to register the capital?"
"It can be adjusted somewhat." Chen Hui Sheng didn't say much more.
"False capitalization isn't good. After all, you're a lawyer."
"No need, how are you going to account for such a large sum of money to your parents?"
"When I was in college, my grandma gave me some money and told me to use it until I got my Ph.D. As long as I didn't buy a car or have a girlfriend who spent a lot of money, I could take the money out slowly after I started working."
"Alright, you'll have a 30% stake. Remember to give me a copy of your ID and there are some registration documents that need your signature."
After all these years of getting along, Chen Huaisheng basically understands his character. Although he is not a magnanimous person, he is generous and righteous at heart.
"Good."
"It's more interesting for you to study chemical engineering." More practical, at least for her.
"Hmm, I'll consider it."
"Remember to keep all receipts."
"Good."
For dinner, Chen Huaisheng made a stir-fry of celery, green beans and beef with rice accompanied by tomato and egg soup. Because some dishes were cooked just right, using non-stick pans, less oil was used, starch was moderate, dietary fiber and protein were sufficient, overall it can be said to be relatively healthy.
"Do you need a computer?"
"I use the computer in the dorm."
"I plan to buy a desktop computer, the laptop I'm using now is not enough. Otherwise, put it in your home, my dormitory is too small."
Chen Huaicheng hesitated for a moment, "My parents sometimes come over to stay, at that time you won't be able to visit me."
"Then I'll use a laptop. Yeah, it's better if the online store is set up early."
"Let's put the computer stuff aside for now. Actually, I'm still missing a cooperative workshop to make some finished products, monitor and analyze them, and also make small quantities of handmade soap. Why don't you help me check out the chemistry department? Masters and PhD students should be doing experiments all the time."
"I remember two classmates making some cosmetic samples by themselves, I'll go ask them."
"Alright, as soon as possible."
After eating, someone still lingered and didn't want to leave, bringing up the topic of the company's operational direction and customer marketing.
To be honest, Pang Hua is a great student but falls far behind in business...
On Sunday, Chen Haosheng thought about handmade soap at home all day and went to the internet cafe for three hours.
On Monday, a batch of packages was delivered, and her online store received five hearts. Some customers started to return and new customers were introduced by word of mouth.
Then, Peng Hua received the unfortunate news: The laboratory conditions were limited, and the analysis and testing, including handmade soap, were not feasible... However, he promised to do it personally.
He will "personally" stir up trouble!
Chen Huaqiang snorted in disdain and lazily went to investigate.
She passed all the tests, including the difficult left turn and uphill sections. She remembered the characteristics of manual transmission cars and fortunately did not make any mistakes that would have prevented her from passing the test, such as stalling or rolling back.
Then she personally made the training materials for new beauticians in beauty salons, um, to test how many treatments it takes to shrink and refine the pores on the nose and cheeks.
After running around easily and smoothly, after registering Chen's Industrial and Trading Co., Ltd., she found a financial company on the floor above the law firm to do accounting.
"Chen's Industrial and Trading Company... don't you want to expand?" Boss Feng Lei 'female' handed over the lawyer's certificate to her, then ruthlessly made her do volunteer work in his place.
"Don't think about it, as long as you're happy." Chen Huanxuan smiled and handed over two large and small cans of 'refined' hand cream. "This is my new work."
When Chen Huasheng saw that the pustules on Pang Hua's face had broken and two new, slightly smaller red bumps had appeared, he 'forced' him to take zinc tablets, nicotinamide and wheat germ oil orally.
The latter originally wanted to protest, but ended up being dragged over and paid thousands of yuan - still a super internal discount price - to use 'laser' to remove a bunch of marks, and after three days of not being able to go out, had to obediently eat the health products she specified. This batch of foreign goods is not quite authentic, so Chen Huai-sheng is still looking for channels.
But she finally had the funds to wholesale those expensive but orally available high-end aromatherapy products from Taiwan.
Pang Hua thought she was crazy and poured the stuff on her face into her mouth.
But! She 'forced' him to eat too!
"Don't call me to eat lard!" Pang Hua was scared to death.
"This can't be eaten."
Chen Haotian used a cotton swab to apply some ointment to his lips, then switched to another cotton swab and applied it to his own mouth.
"As expected, it's good enough to be a 'lip' service." She refused the discounted price for aromatherapy training, nothing else, just pricey.
"......Alright, anyway, my chemical engineering thesis proposal has been approved."
"Awesome! By the way, I've already returned most of your investment to your account - aren't you going to invest?"
"I'm afraid of losing money. Do you have any good advice?"
"New shares. Blue-chip stocks. Gold. Real estate. You actually used to save in a current account... It's really... As expected, if someone is exceptionally talented in one area, they might be stupid in other areas."
Pang Hua was stunned for a while, then suddenly his eyes lit up, "How much does the house in your community cost per square meter?"
"Your money is not enough." In fact, for a moment, she wanted to ask him to lend her money to pay off the mortgage on this house she lived in.
"That's enough! I saw that there are forty square meters of that, and then I can borrow some from my parents. Then you can come over and eat for free! He stuffed his mouth with mushroom 'chicken' 'meat' spaghetti. Chen Huan's craftsmanship is quite good, simple ingredients can make different things."
Chen Haotian looked at the things piled up in the house, "Alright. I'll put some boxes there too."
"...go ahead, no problem!" Can we just not add him and have him eat a bunch of weird stuff?
"Uh-huh, don't forget to eat this." Chen Huaixing handed him a lid with five 'medicinal' tablets before going to wash the dishes and scrub the pot.
Five pieces!
Pang Hua swallowed hard... Good heavens, would he get dysphagia?!
Chen Haotian still vaguely remembers his experience of being a petitioning official on secondment, which wasn't a pleasant memory.
The most severe case was an elderly employee who died suddenly after returning home, with the family claiming it was a work-related injury. However, neither the employer nor the social insurance agency or the hospital acknowledged it. As a result, the family tried to bring the body in a coffin to petition the government for justice, but were taken away on suspicion of endangering public safety - first cremating the body and then dealing with it later. Because the family refused to agree to a re-autopsy by a forensic doctor to investigate the cause of death, the matter was dropped.
So when facing a large group of people who vowed to defend their rights, Chen Hui-cheng, a rookie lawyer who had just graduated and obtained his license for one year, performed in a way that made the director of the Judicial Bureau take notice.
"I am Chen Huaisheng." A middle-aged woman, who claimed that she was not hired as a nurse by three hospitals because of her "daughter's" disagreement with the rules, got an opportunity to hand out name cards. She wasn't very interested in this kind of social interaction, so she had a calm and humble attitude. However, based on the idea that they needed to support each other for a day, she gave a small jar of hand cream to each person, regardless of whether they were male or female.
"She said, 'I made this hand cream with precious oil myself.'"
Almost everyone opened it and sniffed it, and some even applied it on the spot.
"Wow, so refreshing!"
One person praises and others follow suit.
The men laughed and were about to go home to pay their respects, when another one came running back to ask Chen Huacheng for a small can to take away. Okay, in terms of age,
Chen Hua Sheng was the youngest among those present, but in terms of real mental age... cough, she was absolutely the oldest, and her attitude was slightly strange because of this.
"How long have you been a lawyer, Little Chen?"
"She just got her license and hasn't even done a yearly inspection yet!" another person replied for her.
"Oh, great, not bad! Are you interested in coming to our firm? I think you'll definitely be able to make partner in the future!"
Chen Haotian smiled and shook his head, "I don't like being a lawyer that much, this is just part-time."
Part-time job!
Part-time?
The men and women who were drinking tea together were all shocked.
"What's your major?"
Chen Hui pointed at the hand cream in her hand, "Doing this. But it doesn't pay much, not enough to make a living, so I went to work in Fangshan."
“……”
“……”
"It's great, nowadays young people have aspirations, doing what they like is the most important thing."
"However, I studied law and English, which must be used in practice, otherwise it would not be worth the tuition fees paid by my parents. Most of my living expenses come from tutoring and scholarships." Chen Huaicheng was telling the truth, without much boasting, just stating facts and being practical.
"A big scholarship? Not easy!"
"If only my son were as sensible as you."
"Can you earn your living expenses yourself? It's very tiring."
"Do you speak English?" Finally someone asked the key question.
"Yes, I took the Professional English Level 8 exam in my senior year of college, passed the Judicial Examination last year, and just received a degree from the Self-Study English Exam this year."
"Eight levels... and then you insisted on doing hand cream?"
"There are also imported 'refined' oils, facial and body care products, as well as handmade cold-pressed soaps. The raw materials I use are very good. Incidentally, I also sell a high-end 'refined' oil product from Taiwan. However, if you need on-site translation services, you can find me, only 150 yuan per hour."
"...... Well, for the things I like!" A female officer from the procuratorate nodded thoughtfully, "Handmade soap is also divided into cold process? And hot process?"
"Yes, look at those transparent, fragrant and beautifully shaped soaps. They are soap base soaps that can be made by machine, which is cheaper, but they produce a lot of foam and still dry out your skin. Cold process handmade soaps are much more expensive because the cost of raw materials is very high and it takes four months to make them. Sometimes, if you're not careful, they might even go bad. So I have to sell my 80g soap for 60 yuan."

Author's personal recommendation:
Hand cream: 12 drops 'flesh' tonka bean, 12 drops orris root, 12 drops (English) rose, 18 drops sandalwood (use the cheaper one) add to 100ml of cream, stir. If you don't like such a strong scent, can use 3ml of rosehip oil instead, but effect won't be as good.
