Farewell
Xuan Ye stood in the hall wearing men's clothes, because Arland asked her to wait for a while. After waiting for 5 minutes, Arland walked out of the small room.
"Here, take this." Arlans handed Xuan a leather belt with a sword hanger, "This was one of my husband's spares. Your sword looks quite eye-catching, for safety's sake, it's better to keep it hidden."
Taking over the sword belt with a scabbard, Xuan Xiran looked at Arans with deep emotion and said, "Thank you, Aunt Arans."
"Don't mention it, you're just a kid. It's not easy being out on your own." Arlan helped Xuan Ye tidy up her collar and the wrinkles on her clothes after helping her fasten her belt.
Xuan Yan said "thank you" and put the sword into its scabbard, which fit perfectly, and the sword was relatively light, not feeling heavy at all when hung on his body. Moreover, the sword was very long, so it wasn't convenient to hold in his hand either.
"Here, take this." Arlan walked over to the table and picked up a brown package that had been prepared in advance and handed it to Xuanxieran.
"Aunt Alans, what's this?" Xuanxian took over the package, which was a bit heavy.
"There are some spare clothes and food in here," Aransas said softly. "In the bottom secret pocket, there is some money, not much, but enough for you to live on this month."
"I can't accept this" Xuan Yan hastily stretched out his hand and returned the package to Aransas, but she didn't take it back.
"This is all I can help you with, let it go, hope you can reunite with your parents soon"
"Thank you, Aunt Alans." Xuan Xianran hugged the bundle in her arms tightly, her eyes moistening. She felt very lucky to have met someone like Aunt Alans.
"It's all right, let's get going now. Once we leave this forest, we'll be able to see the town," Arans reminded them.
"Hmm" Xuan Xianran tied the bundle to his body, prepared everything and set off towards the door.
After waving goodbye to Arland, she turned and walked into the woods.
