Chapter 9, Fortunately youre alright

  Chapter 9, Fortunately you're alright

Yu Ya felt that she had a very deep and long dream.

She dreamed that she was washed away by the sea to a strange place, and maybe the dream was too real, so she felt like she was still floating on the surface of the sea now.

  Floating?

The girl who was frightened by her own thoughts suddenly opened her eyes, and what entered her sight was a vast blue sky, with occasional thin clouds drifting across, blending perfectly with the salty sea breeze that carried the scent of the ocean, forming a unique intense freshness of summer.

  "Whoosh——"

There was a sound of waves ringing in her ears, circulating back and forth. She raised her hand only to find... that all this wasn't just a dream.

She's really floating on the sea, and what's even more infuriating is that there's absolutely nothing around except for the sea and sky, damn it!!!!!!!!

"Leo?" A tentative call of his companion's name, but this time there was no familiar response.

As expected... She's the only one who's unlucky!

The girl who suddenly woke up instantly lost confidence in her life, and the good mood she had when she saw Czech Rome turned into a desire to die in an instant. If only she had slept more on the airship, maybe she could have escaped this miserable fate!!

But now! Where is travel? It's just a matter of life and death!

She let out a elegant yet helpless sigh, and looked around the empty surroundings once again. It was pointless to hope for someone to come rescue her; she would definitely die here...

She hastily grabbed her bag and looked tense.

It's okay, the bag is still there, it just got some water in, but nothing inside was damaged and nothing fell out. However, what the girl cared about wasn't these things at all! She unzipped the inner pocket of the bag, opened a hidden compartment, and then unzipped another zipper inside, as if there was something very important stored inside, which is why she took such safety precautions.

  "Fortunately you're okay!"

The girl excitedly held up what was hidden in her bag, and at that moment, the gloom on her face was completely dispelled, as if it had never existed.

On her hand, there is a blue-purple crystal ball with two purple-red protrusions on the left and right ends of the upper hemisphere, perhaps used as decorations to highlight its unique spirit ball.

Obviously, there is something extremely important in that extraordinary spirit ball, so she would show such a relieved expression.

"Although I know you don't want to see me at all... " She elegantly lowered her eyelids, and a faint sadness and desolation floated in the bottom of her eyes, "But, can you at least leave this planet alone? It's very lonely..."

"I clearly didn't want you to be lonely, yet I still did something so wrong to you, that's why you won't forgive me, and that's understandable!" She felt guilty towards it, after all, it was the one she liked the most, the one she pitied the most, the one she least wanted to hurt. So when it ignored her and refused to come out of its Poké Ball, she was heartbroken. "I know you're a responsible Pokémon, so even though you don't like me, you've stayed by my side all this time. But if we hadn't waited for that passing ship, I'd probably be dead by now! So when the time comes, remember to leave me and go far, far away, back to that little town you liked, and continue being its guardian deity."

She said it very casually, with a half-joking tone.

The ball in her hand didn't move at all, as if it hadn't heard what she said.

But she didn't know that in the invisible spirit ball, the black figure had a thousand thoughts in his heart.

"Ah, what a hassle. At this rate, it's likely that no ship will arrive for a week...". There must be a way, there must be a way. The girl comforted herself in her heart.

But... there's no other way, right? If we keep staying here like this, the only thing we can do is wait for death! And it's not like some kind-hearted person will suddenly appear and give her a heroic rescue like in fairy tales! Okay, fine, even if there isn't a hero, I'd still accept a nearby polar bear practicing its swimming skills!

The girl, feeling more and more wronged, looked at the Poké Ball in her hand with tears welling up in her eyes. "Even though I know you don't want to talk to me, just respond to me a little, even if it's just an 'oh', I'll die happy, really!"

"...Oh." It was as if he had hesitated for a long time, and a low voice seemed to come from the Poké Ball.

  ……

"I told you to give me one, and you actually gave it to me!!" The girl suddenly clenched her fists in rage, but soon revealed an expression of utter surprise, "Wow, wow, you're talking to me!!! You're actually talking to me!!!!!"

It's just one note, but it can make her happy like this.

"Although it's just a word! But I believe there will be improvement between us! So I decided not to die after all!" She immediately became energetic, but when she saw that there were still no boats around, she suddenly wilted like an eggplant hit by frost. "After all, heaven wants me dead, I'm so pitiful!"

Can't you be a bit more positive? You haven't even made any effort to seek help, no matter how small the chance is.
