Chapter 36: The Last Day of the Game
Today was the last day of the game. I stood in the conference room, staring at the data on the big screen with a defeated expression.
Cloud had 7 points, Rain had 8 points, Xiang had 5 points, and Sakura had 6 points. And I... had 0 points!!!
I walked out of the conference room with a dark face, went downstairs, and drove to the entertainment district. I didn't care about the game anymore; I just wanted to have fun.
I arrived at the largest "Bloodthirsty" gaming hall in the entertainment district. As I entered, I saw many young people playing and having fun. The name of this gaming hall was quite fitting - it was like a den of vampires!
I walked to the back of the hall, looking for something interesting. That's when I saw her... Rain! She was the one who had been flirting with that guy!
I couldn't believe my eyes. Wasn't she supposed to be the most indifferent and aloof among us? But it seemed that all of my sisters were not as innocent as they seemed.
Sakura came up to me and asked, "What are you doing here?" I told her about Rain, and she just smiled and said, "Let's go somewhere else."
We went to a club, where Sakura was greeted by many people. We sat down in the VIP area, and a waiter came over to take our order.
Sakura pointed to the corner of the room, where two couples were sitting. One of the guys was Taro, but I didn't recognize the other guy. The girls were dressed very sexily, and one of them was feeding Taro a drink while he had his arm around her waist.
I looked away, uninterested, and asked Sakura what we were doing there. She just smiled and said, "Look at the other guy."
The other guy was kissing another girl passionately. I raised an eyebrow and asked Sakura if she liked him. She rolled her eyes and said, "No way! He's a playboy!"
It turned out that he was a friend of Taro's and was currently pursuing Xiang. But Xiang wouldn't accept him.
I was shocked and spilled my coffee all over the table. Sakura handed me a napkin and stood up, saying, "Let's go."
