Chapter 18: Cheating Xu Xiao for a Meal (Part 2)

  After class, Qiao Anyu and Gu Sichen were discussing how to thank Xu Xiao. Xu Xiao turned around with a captivating smile on his face and asked, "What were you two talking about in class? You seemed so into it that the teacher was watching you for a long time."

  Gu Siqi was so lovesick that she became incoherent and misused idioms when she met the handsome guy. To prevent her from embarrassing herself and regretting it later, the clear-headed Qiao Anyu quickly replied: "Thanks a lot just now, I really appreciate it."

  Xu Xiao raised an eyebrow and said: "Oh? Want to bring out some sincerity?"

  "Let's have lunch together at noon."

  Qiao Anyu stepped on her foot, gave Gu Sichen a reproachful look, and then put on a capitalist's face to smile at Xu Xiao: "We'll treat you to dinner, you pay the bill, how about that?   "Go, line up." Xu Xiao led them to get lunch.

  "What should I do? There's too much food and I won't be able to finish it."

  Qiao Anyu was about to refute her, stating the fact that she had a big appetite just like him, but as soon as he saw Xu Xiao sitting opposite him, he immediately understood Gu Siyan's intention. She wanted to maintain her good image in front of Xu Xiao, and besides, with Xu Xiao's stunning beauty around, how could she care about eating?
