Chapter 7 The Devil Beside You (Seven)
After the bell rang, Qiao Anyu finally came back.
The teacher also walked in and shouted: "Class is starting!"
Class monitor Qiao Anyu shouted as usual: "Stand up!" Everyone stood up, bowed to the teacher and said: "Good morning, teacher!" Shu Zimo, who was lowering his head, couldn't hide the smile on his mouth, his eyes kept sneaking a peek at Qiao Anyu, feeling more and more pleased with himself.
"Hello, everyone. Please take a seat." As the students sat down, the teacher opened her book and wrote on the blackboard the title of today's lesson. Suddenly, an "ahh" was heard as a pencil case flew out from under a desk and hit the floor with a loud screeching sound due to inertia. Pens, erasers, and pencil sharpeners scattered all over the floor, along with several small red creatures crawling around on the ground.
Classmates' curious eyes followed the source of the sound and looked at Qiao Anyu together. Fear, anger, and tears intertwined in Qiao Anyu's eyes. Just now, as soon as she opened her pencil case, without even looking inside, she reached in to grab a pen, but instead touched something soft and fluffy. When she took a closer look, it turned out to be several newborn mice, red, hairless, and huddled together. She felt a wave of nausea and couldn't control herself, sweeping the pencil case onto the floor, then buried her face on the desk and burst into tears.
Seeing her react so greatly, Shu Zimo should have felt very happy, but when he touched the teacher's sharp gaze sweeping over, he knew he couldn't escape this calamity again, and unexpectedly had a feeling of rabbit dying fox grieving.
"Who did it!" The teacher took a glance at the little mouse on the ground and immediately understood what was going on. He asked in a stern voice, his eyes fixed tightly on Shu Zimo.
His classmates' eyes all turned to him at once.
Shu Zimo withstood the enormous pressure, unmoving and unflappable, his face didn't even turn red once. As if he was truly innocent.
The classroom was very quiet, with only the sound of Qiao Anyu's crying, which made Shu Zimo feel a bit annoyed. After all, they were just a few small mice that boys loved to raise and play with in their hands. Girls were really timid.
"Shu Zimo, help Yu Liang collect her pencil case and throw away the mouse. After class, come to the office to find me." The teacher knew in her heart that it was definitely Shu Zimo, no one else. She said this and then began teaching.
Why is it always suspected that I have done something every time? Shu Zimo was packing up his pencil case, silently questioning the teacher in his heart, but feeling guilty to death.
After class, it was natural to avoid a scolding and an additional written self-criticism.
He returned to his seat, seeing Qiao Anyu's eyes red and a hint of guilt floating in her heart, but at the same time being suppressed by the satisfaction of victory. However, he had to do something to make up for it, such as apologizing to her. But the three words "I'm sorry" were hard for Su Zimo to say. A man of great dignity, apologizing to a mere woman, wouldn't that be a loss of face?
"Dude, you're awesome!" Qin Hui gave Shu Zimo a thumbs up as he walked past his window.
"Go away!" Shu Zimo waved his hand impatiently, being bothered by the question of whether he should apologize or not.
"Eh, how did you think of these methods? I'll also try them on my deskmate. If you have any good ideas in the future, don't forget about me, brother, remember to share them with me. I'm so bored over there." Qin Hui asked him in a low voice from the windowsill.
"Ke Zi, you've seen what happened to me, and yet you still dare to try?"
"Why are we two brothers so unlucky? We were good friends and classmates, but were actually broken up by two women." Qin Hui sighed.
"You want to apologize?"
"Apologize? Impossible!" Shu Zimo said loudly, intentionally letting Qiao Anyu hear.
"Awesome!" Qin Hui gave a thumbs up again.
