Chapter 3 The Devil Beside Me (Three)

Chapter 3: The Devil Beside You (Three)

Self-study class, the teacher usually reminds the class monitor to manage the order well, and asks the class monitor to write down the names of students who speak during self-study class. The next day, the class monitor will hand it over to the head teacher, and the head teacher will deal with it uniformly. For example, copying words as punishment, or doing cleaning work as punishment. Those who commit repeated offenses will have their parents invited to the teacher's office for a "tea party". Of course, after going home, the student can enjoy a hearty meal in the name of "Bamboo Shoots Stir-Fried with Meat Strips".

Qiao An Yuliang was originally supposed to sit at the podium to do her homework, where she could see all of her classmates' small movements clearly. However, for some reason, today's self-study class Qiao An Yuliang did not move from her own seat to the podium desk. Perhaps it was to make it more convenient for herself to catch Shu Zimo off guard and vent the anger that had been building up inside her. She didn't believe that this person who never did homework or read books during self-study class wouldn't come up with some kind of trick.

But Qiao Anyu soon became immersed in the sea of math problems. She was working on a math Olympiad problem, as if navigating a maze, turning around and around, with no way out in sight. Suddenly, the exit appeared before her! Every cell in Qiao's body was excited by this glimmer of hope, her fingers moving quickly to scribble down equations on the draft paper. Just then, her elbow was suddenly pushed outward, causing her pen to drag across the draft paper and onto the test paper, not only leaving an ugly line but also tearing the paper.

What! This is her homework to be handed in!

She turned her face and stared at the person with a menacing gaze. Shu Zimo lowered his voice impatiently, "What are you looking at? You've crossed the line!"

He stretched his neck and saw that Qiao Anyu's test paper was torn, and he threw out two words with a tone of schadenfreude: "Serves you right!"

Qiao An Yu's anger was not focused on one person, were there people more shameless than him? It was clear that he started the trouble, and yet he didn't admit his mistake, instead blaming her. She suppressed the flames rising from the bottom of her heart and the urge to slap him, sneering coldly: "It's still unclear who will be the one to suffer." Then she turned away, not even willing to look at him again.

The next day, naturally, a list with the three words "Shu Zi Mo" was handed over to their class teacher, Lin.

"Didn't you talk again during yesterday's self-study class? Why is your name always on the list?! Why can't you sit still like other classmates?! I moved you to Yu Liang's side so you could have a reference, a model, see how others behave and compare yourself. Look at yourself, so sloppy, then look at Yu Liang, aren't you ashamed?!" Lin teacher nagged Su Zi Mo for the nth time.

"Hmph, what's so great about that woman? Isn't she just good at taking personal revenge?" Shu Zimo thought disdainfully.

"Go back and write a 1000-word self-criticism essay and hand it in. Otherwise, I'll have to inform your parents." Lin teacher saw that Shu Zimo was distracted and knew that her lecture was again in vain, so she angrily threw out these words.

At the mention of his parents, a hint of fear flashed in Shu Zimo's eyes. His father was the only person he feared, and although they were far apart, one abroad and one at home, as soon as he received a complaint call from his teacher, he would rush back from afar and beat him up.

But Joachim didn't let go of Yu Lian's hand as she was about to leave, he felt reluctant.

"Teacher Lin, that woman, no, it was Qiao An herself who spoke during the self-study class!" Shu Zimo racked his brains and finally remembered the sentence "Still don't know who will be the one to suffer" that Qiao Anyu had said to him. He felt smug and thought he had obtained the most powerful evidence to report her, and was mentally preparing a colorful response, waiting for the teacher's further questioning.

"Do you have any real evidence? Besides, she's the class monitor, and speaking up during self-study class is to remind classmates to follow classroom discipline. It's her duty to keep you disobedient people in line!" Teacher Lin glared at him with a stern expression, unswayed by his malicious accusations.

The words that had been accumulating in his mouth were swallowed back. He listlessly murmured "uh-huh", but in his heart he was indignant: "She doesn't have any real evidence either, just relying on those written records? Just because she's the class monitor, does she have the privilege of speaking during self-study class?"

The two of them have had a falling out over this.
