Chapter Seven: Time Flies, Only Wishing You Peace
"Hello, I'm looking for Su Jin."
The metal door of Class B, Grade One was pushed open, and a girl stood there calmly, with the warm sunlight behind her, her long brown hair cascading down like a waterfall, her serene and elegant demeanor captivating many eyes.
Everyone was stunned.
"I'm looking for Su Jin." She repeated again, her eyes gazing through the crowd at a corner of the classroom.
Her eyes met that dazzling gold and she seemed to smile slightly.
The whole class gradually quieted down, and without exception, they followed her gaze to the last desk in the fifth row of the classroom. There sat a boy with golden hair, blue pupils, and a habitual melancholy between his eyebrows, which shone with a faint light under the sunlight.
From afar, he looks like a prince who has walked out of a comic book...
He put down the pen in his hand, looked up in surprise, and stared at the person who had just called out his name.
That girl...
With the sun behind him, his features were unclear, only a head of brown hair tied up high, white skin and a white T-shirt could be seen.
In a daze, he suddenly remembered a pure and beautiful girl. That girl was also like that at first, giving people a very clean feeling, as if she were an angelic saint...
She still remembered that she liked wearing white floral dresses, she liked eating all kinds of sweets, and she liked using a sweet voice to repeat calling him Su Jin Su Jin.
That girl has been missing for three years...
She gradually approached, slowly making out her features, familiar contours, shedding the childishness of years past, a pair of eyes that should have been clear and distinct were instead shimmering with an enigmatic glow, she was breathtakingly beautiful.
The whole temperament is both positive and evil, and the little girl in memory is like two different people. Pure white and delicate paper and mysterious cold black night.
"Jing." Her voice was still pleasant to hear, but it had a few more degrees of coldness than three years ago.
She no longer sweetly called him Su Jin Su Jin, nor did she directly pounce on him and hug his arm to show affection, but the initial intimacy had not changed at all.
She grew up.
But growth comes at a cost.
A vision of the bloody rain night three years ago flashed through his mind, and his throat suddenly felt a little choked. He opened his mouth to say something, but in the end only managed to utter a few words: "Long time no see... Xiao Fengxue."
As soon as the last three words came out, Xiao Fengxue was stunned for a moment, and then the two of them looked at each other and smiled, with only each other understanding the sparkle in their eyes.
Yes, now she is Xiao Fengxue, the noble and princess-like Xiao Fengxue, not Ye Luoxue, not that girl who lived with a fake name in a world that didn't belong to her.
"Jin, how have you been all these years? I've listened to your music in the US and it's getting better and better!" Xiao Fengxue sat down beside him, smiling and giving him a thumbs up.
This smile made her whole person lively, as if the air around her also became fresh.
"I'm fine, how about you?" He pinched her small nose tip, just like he used to, "Three years ago, you left for the US without saying a word, and after one phone call, I lost contact with you. Don't you owe me an explanation? Hmm?"
The tone of his voice slightly rose at the end, which is Su Jin's usual tone when he turns on his black belly mode, like a white knight.
As soon as he spoke, his relaxed and joking expression stiffened, and he quickly realized that he had made some kind of mistake.
"Three years ago... I..."
Her fingertips trembled imperceptibly, the devil of three years ago was forcibly sealed in her memory. She suppressed herself to forget everything, but had to remember the harm she had suffered, because only by remembering that harm could she become stronger.
"Jin, I'm sorry."
I'm sorry that you treated me like a sister and something happened, but I excluded you. I'm sorry for my cowardice which made me avoid everyone and everything I had contact with three years ago in my home country.
"Silly girl, never mind about that, have you recovered from your illness?"
He lowered his eyebrows and looked at her seriously.
She didn't say goodbye at first, and after arriving in the United States, she only called him once and then disappeared without a trace. He knew the reason better than anyone else.
There is no one in this world who understands Xiao Fengxue better than Su Jin.
"Hmm, at that time, I was only hospitalized for four months and recovered. Even the doctors were surprised by my strong recovery ability, you have no idea how exaggerated their expressions were when I woke up."
Listening to her casual and humorous words, he forced a slight smile, but couldn't laugh. Yeah, such a serious car accident, only lying in bed for four months, is considered mild.
If she hadn't called him later, he would have thought that he wouldn't be able to see her for the rest of his life.
He reached out and rubbed her hair: "Our little Xue'er has grown a lot taller and become more beautiful."
"Yes, people will always grow up, but you, nothing has changed except for your height."
Still the same, warm and jade-like, with clean eyebrows and eyes, revealing a hint of melancholy and a coldness that keeps people at arm's length.
"Ah, Xue Er, how did you end up here?"
"I returned to my country to study, now we are classmates, I'm just in the next class." She said with a hint of regret, she didn't investigate clearly which class he was in before transferring, what a mistake.
But it's not like I didn't gain anything, at least I saw the true face of that person who was hiding in the shadows, and saw a side of him that nobody else knows.
She couldn't help but laugh when she thought of his red and dazed face just now.
"Xue Er..." He muttered, then immediately looked up at her, with a faint smile on the corner of his mouth. "Let's get together in a few days when I'm free, and I'll introduce you to some friends."
"Good, and your angel...haven't found it yet?"
In Su Jin's memory, there was an angel, a girl who was like sunshine to him. She was the one who accompanied him through his most difficult times in life, and most of his songs were written for that girl.
Unfortunately, after all these years, the girl never came looking for him.
"Not yet, but I believe that one day I will find her, as long as she is still alive in this world, one day she will hear my song."
He will strive to stand on the world's screen, as long as he becomes a world-renowned singer, she will always see him.
Su Jin's eyes are very beautiful, blue like the ocean, clean and bright. Her skin is fair, her eyebrows resemble distant mountains. Standing in the shade, she is the melancholy prince who walked out of the vampire castle in Western legend; standing in the sunlight, she is an angel coming towards the light.
Su Jin is synonymous with all things good.
Xiao Fengxue narrowed her eyes and smiled, she really liked Su Jin when he talked about music. He exuded an aura of confidence, so beautiful that it was hard to look away.
The two of them were like they had never been apart, and the three years did not make their feelings fade. They talked a lot, smiled and laughed, and every unintentional intimate gesture crushed the hearts of countless girls.
It's a different kind of atmosphere from the sweet and romantic one between lovers, but rather a feeling that is similar to friendship yet akin to familial affection.
Until Xiao Fengxue left, Su Jin slapped his head in regret, almost forgetting that Class B of the first year wasn't Xun Zai's class?
I hope Xue Er's current personality won't clash with that guy's.
Di Liang Xun and he were good friends who had known each other for many years, so he was naturally clear about his temperament: cold and overbearing, ruthless and decisive, with cruel means.
Now all I can do is pray for her, don't provoke Xun otherwise, even if he goes easy on her because of his face, she still won't be able to bear it.
